Family Services is scary, and not just in AZ. I've been with a number of friends who were victimized by State Family services people who made accusations without proof. The fact that the state can take our children at any time is scary. I had a recent counseling session with a social work for the state who said she is sick that so many families are put through excruciating experiences at the whims or unfounded suspicion of workers. The workers are told to err on the side of caution, sure. But way to often they go over the line. These kinds of things can destroy a family financially, emotionally, and socially. I hope this family wins their suit, and costs Family Services millions.
