Hello! We had a princess party for our two year old this past year. We decorated with purple and pink balloons and streamers. We also had the giant mylar princess castle balloon. When the kids arrived, they picked their "outfits." Girls had crowns and star wands and boys had foam armor (complete with swords, helmet, chestplate, shields from the $ Store). Then they went outside under big white tents (also decorated with balloons and streamers). We had markers and foam stickers for the kids to decorate their wands and swords. We also had some coloring sheets of disney princess and prince characters for them to color. We played a number of games, which were all easy because of the age. We played "Kiss the Frog" with a giant posterboard frog prince. Everyone was blindfolded and the stuck lips to the frog. Closest to the real lips, won. We played find the poisoned apple. We had an apple hidden in the hard that they had to find. We play toss the Anemone by throwing a "spaghetti ball" into sand buckets. We also had a stick horse race. The kids loved the games. We served all of the food in crystal and green glassware to make it fancy. We had label cards for each item of food and a mini object that corresponded to the character as follows: We had sloppy joes and called them "Sloppy Cindy's" with a picture of Cinderella and a mini mop and bucket next to it. We had baked beans called "Beauty and the Beans" with a picture of Belle and a small rosebud in a vase. We had applesauce called "Snow White's poisoned applesauce" with a picture of Snow White and an apple next to it. We had mini pickles called "Seven Dwarf Dills" with a picture of the seven dwarfs and plastic diamond gems. We had chips and called them "Prince Charming's Chips" with a picture of Prince Charming and a glass slipper. We had blue koolaid and called it "Ariel's Under the Sea Water" with a picture of Ariel and seashells. We had iced tea and called it "Sleeping Bea-Tea" with picture of Aurora and a mini spinning wheel. We had chocolate-dipped pretzels rolled in star sprinkles called "Fairy Godmother's Magic Wands" with a picture of the fairy godmother and a mini pumpkin and sprinkled magic sugar dust. We had a berry fruit salad and called them "Pocohontas' Sunsweet Berries of the Earth" with a picture of Pocohontas and a mini Native American Flute. I think the last thing we had was jello jigglers and called them "Jasmine's Jiggly Gems" with a picture of Jasmine and a miniature woven carpet. The parents loved the food display as much as anything. The cake was purchased and was a disney castle cake. It was tons of fun!
