Some of my favorite memories are pouring over cookbooks with my mother. We would talk about the various ingredients, what we thought would taste good and how it would all come together.

Do you and your Princess share time in the kitchen? Are you teaching her the joy of cooking? Is there a special recipe you'd like to share with us?

My daughte just turned two in Dec but she loves to help in the kitchen, her favorite time is making cookies. She also loves to help with the shopping ( even though she just grabs things, If it was up to her we would have some interesting cookies). Her favorite seems to be Oatmean with Golden Raisins.

They both love to help and I always let them pick at least one dish out of the cookbook a week so that way they are getting a choice in what we have. My grandmother did that with me and I loved it!

That's great that she's so "helpful." ;-)

What a great way to let them be involved and also have some responsibility in helping out.
