Did you want to be a forest ranger when you grew up, or a telephone repairman, or any of hundreds of vocations that called upon you to spend time outdoors? Do you ever feel jealous of those who get to work outside? Have you ever had such a job or do you have one now?

Living in TX I prefer to be indoors with the AC or at the pool, lol. I do enjoy working in my yard/garden though!

With my luck, I'd become a forest ranger and get assigned to death valley! I love the mountains and would like to be a ranger, but not when its hot, or when its rainy, or when its cold, and I need some cappucino every few hours, and...yeah, I know what you are thinking! :)

With my luck, I'd become a forest ranger and get assigned to death valley! I love the mountains and would like to be a ranger, but not when its hot, or when its rainy, or when its cold, and I need some cappucino every few hours, and...yeah, I know what you are thinking! :)

If you enjoy people, I would imagine that being a guide would be a great job. Perhaps a fishing guide in Canada, or possibly a hunting guide in Alaska. I have a friend whose daughter is a bush pilot ferrying people into remote locations in Alaska. That sounds like a great job.
