I helped put up Christmas lights over the weekend. That's an outdoor activity. LOL! I didn't have to do much, though. I'm not a ladder person, so I held the ladder and opened the boxes. We had ice and snow last night and the house looks pretty!

Sunday PM I took a group from my church caroling as some of the area nursing homes. I have pics on my iphone. Here is one. These are 2.0 MP photos so they don't have great resolution, but gives you an idea. We had a great time!

If we get the right kind of snow, I'm planning on taking a walk in the falling snow with my girlfriend. When the flakes are huge, it's really enjoyable walking and watching, especially sharing the experience with someone you care for.

We drove around the neighborhoods looking at some of the lights. Some people must spend thousands of dollars putting up lights, and then another thousand on electricity! :) It seems a shame that so much is spent on just a couple of weeks worth of decoration.

that is wonderful of you all and i'm sure the seniors, especially those that are shut-in, were very happy to have you all there. our church does the same and my husband & i were going to go with them but the weather was horrible and my health didnt permit it..darn!..always next year!!

we always take a ride around the neighborhoods checking out the 'light shows' and some of them are shows..it is amazing how some people decorate their house..but no matter how simple or how 'decorated' a house is i always tell my children that at least the family is celebrating the holiday and not being a scrooge.
