That Pesky Fly

Did you hear about the pesky fly that President Obama killed during an interview? Well, he took some heat from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). They even sent him a device that is a humane bug catcher that has a trap door to release flies outside instead of killing them. Do you think that taking heat from PETA was warranted? Would you use a "catch and release" bug catcher instead of killing flies and mosquitoes?

OMG! PLEEZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a F-L-Y. Though he (Obama that is, not the fly) did have some "stealth" moves, didn't he? That was kinda creepy. Than again, my DD7, last summer adopted a fly. Yep, she trapped it HUMANELY,(btw) and kept as a pet, until.......well, such as life. Frankly, PETA needs a reality check. Enough with the power trip and start H E L P I N G and stop preaching.

I have little toleration for PETA. They scream about animal abuse, but a recent report indicated that 90% of the animals that come to PETA for adoption are euthanized. They do not practice what they preach. Regarding flies...I've "murdered" about 50 this last week after leaving my door open while unloading luggage and being inundated. I feel absolutely no guilt. I wish we'd get all of them! :) And PETA needs to get a life.
