Taxing Health Care Benefits
FamilyHost_Cheryl - June 29, 2009
On the Sunday morning talk shows, White House advisor David Axelrod said that the White House is leaving open the possibility of paying for a health care overhaul by taxing employer-based health care benefits that are above a particular level.

While on the campaign trail, Obama called John McCain's proposal to tax health care benefits the "alrgest middle-class tax increase in history".

What's your thought on this? Do you feel that overhauling the current health care system is worth taxing health care benefits? How do you feel about the White House being open to this possibility after the statement made about McCain's proposal?

It makes sense to me. I'm not for universal health care, but I'd like to see more done on this important issue.
