Obama - First Family

Michelle Obama's mother has to decide whether to move to the White House with the First Family. While having her there would be great for the children when the Obamas have to travel and be away from the girls, she would lose her privacy in a big way. Not sure which I'd do if I were in her shoes. How about you?

More power to her! She'll keep everyone in line. I'm sure she can handle the privacy issue just fine. I have a feeling she wouldn't hesitate to tell whomever to bud out.

I have no idea what she is like. Some mother in laws are very quiet, others are very vocal. Whatever she decides, I hope it is the decision that results in the most peace.

From the sounds of it, both Michelle and Baraq seem to really want her with them in the house and their daughters probably do as well. She seems to have taken quite good care of them over the last 2 years.

It sounds like she would be an asset. However, its difficult to tell. She might cause friction, even without trying to. I hope they can work it out.
