Tank tops, swimsuits, shorts: sounds like the typical summertime uniform, right? But is it acceptable everywhere? Are there certain places that shorts are still a faux pas?

How about Air Force One? Recently, the media has been buzzing about First Lady's attire as she descended the President's plane in Arizona. Dressed in mid-length shorts, a tank/camisole, and a unbuttoned collared shirt, she looked like millions of other American moms.

I think its fine for where she was going, it doesn't matter to me if she got there in a plain, train or automobile. Now if she was at a congressional meeting I would see the problem. No matter what someone does there will always be someone that has something to say about it. What I like most about the Obama's they don't act like they are any better than any other American. They are down home regular people like you and me.

I so agree with you about the Obamas not acting any better than any other American. I really appreciate that about them. Now the shorts issue has overtaken the sleeveless arms issue(if my arms looked like her, I'd go sleeveless, too). I wonder what will be next.
