If the sky were the limit, what kind of Disney vacation would you plan?

My Disney dream vacation would be for us to be able to spend about 6 weeks at WDW. We've been for 2 weeks before and that just wasn't enough time. We would be able to leisurely go to all the parks, water parks, downtown disney and enjoy all the ammenties of the Animal Kingdom Villas with a safari view. My little guys are animal freaks. While we were there we would do a 7 day Disney cruise and like everyone else someone else would foot the bill-unless I win the lottery--then I'll pay!!!!!!!

Sounds like a great 6 weeks! My little ones are animal freaks too so I think I might have to copy your 6 week WDW idea.

Wow that would be soooo much fun!!!! Let's see - I would take all family members with. THat includes about 100 people. We would have to stay a minimum of 2 weeks. I would love to stay at is it The Wilderness? Or maybe the Grande Floridian? We would eat at all the delicious restarurants, get massages, facials, but most of all, just all hang out and enjoy the wonderful world of Walt Disney. There is nothing like it on earth!

You must be beside yourself! We also have a daughter of 6... planning on going to WDW in March for her 7th bday. Bibbidy bobbidy boutique is on the top of the list. Anything else that is a must do? Have a great time?

My dream Disney Vacation would be a trip to Disney World and then a Cruise on Disney Cruises. I would spend 4 or so days in the park longer if needed, and then the longest cruise I could possibly take.

Ooooooh, I love this topic. I would love to go to the parks for a week, staying in the Wilderness Lodge by Animal Kingdom, and then go for a 1-week cruise on the big red boat to recuperate! We've only been to the Contemporary before, and will probably have to go value resort next time, but this is the dream, right? My kids love animals, and I heard from a friend that sometimes you wake up and see giraffes or zebras right outside your window at Wilderness. We've never hit anything other than the Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney, so I would set aside one day for Animal Kingdom, one for Epcot, two for the MK, and one for the waterpark, then have a couple leftover to return to favorites! I know friends who have gone on the cruise, and given my boy's love of pretend play and costumes (see attached picture), I think they would FLIP on the cruise. They would want to be signed up for every activity, pirate party, and excursion. And just think of all that time it would be just me and my hubby.... it would be like a second honeymoon mixed in with a family vacation. Maybe throw in a spa treatments or two, and lots of character dining! My younger son has special needs, and is convinced that every character he has met at the MK is a close personal friend. It means so much to him, we would have to plan on him getting to meet and greet everyone. Of course, I would have to get the Disney PhotoPass CD. Since I'm dreaming big, I would also have my parents, in-laws, brother and nephew join us, too! I'm guessing all this would be in the range of $25,000 - but who knows, I could hit the lottery someday. Thanks for encouraging me to dream!!!

I love reading about all the different vacation plans. So much fun!!! My dream vacation would include remarrying my husband at the Wedding Pavilion with our daughter being the flower girl. Our "familymoon" would include a trip to the Bippity Bootique, a private family dinner cruise (during the fireworks at MK) around the Lagoon and just letting our daughter experience the "Magic". Oh, yes Mommy would like to spend some time at the Grand Floridian Spa.
