Out of the mouths of babes is never so appropriate as when they're creating. We're looking forward to sharing the uniqueness and cuteness of kids!

When our children were little my husband would climb on top of the roof Christmas Eve, stomp around with bells in his hands ( to act like Santa). One year he had to have back surgery and could not climb the roof, so we skipped it this year. Well, the twins, who were about 5 around that time, got upset because they did not hear Santa. Upset they asked if Santa thought that they had been bad this year. My oldest calmly replied, no, dad is just getting to old to climb the roof. My husband and myself just busted out laughing, we could not help it lol

One of my dearest treasures from my oldest daughter. She was about 5 or 6 back then.

I finally went through my kids drawings and scanned some of them. Here is one my youngest made for her brother, who was in the hospital during that time. She drew an angel because she said her brother told her to. Which her brother was in a coma, so I am not sure how this could have happened. I guess twins do have that special connection.

Something the kids did when they were younger was a turkey wreath. They outlined their little hands on fall colored construction paper, cut all those little hands out, drew turkey faces on the cut outs, with the fingers being the tail of the turkey. Then they glued them all together in a circle to make a wreath and added a painted Happy Thanksgiving sign to the middle of the wreath.
