Resisting cravings

How do you get past cravings? I am a firm believer in not depriving myself and that it is OK to indulge in moderation but sometimes it is sooooo hard to walk past the donuts. Any suggestions?

come up with alternate snackies that you enjoy. When you see a donut, give yourself permission to have one of your alternate snacks. Lowfast flavored yogurt is great, as are almonds. You can also play a game with yourself. Play the 5 for 1 game. After you resist having a donut five times, reward yourself and have one the next time. You're right, moderation and consistent effort are the best ways.

What a great idea, BroncosDad! I'm going to try that as well! I usually just deny myself.
