Hey I'm new here but thought I'd add my 2 cents :) I just had a baby 7 weeks a go and decided this time around I'm going to go full force and get the body I've always wanted. Since I can't really go to the gym I decided to get workout DVDs. I got the Traci Anderdson Method Post Pregnancy Workout. And it was one of the most difficult workouts I've had in a very long time. I can already feel the skin tightening and it's only been a week!!! Good Luck :)

I know the feeling. I am a mother of 4 and was 225 lbs after my first two. I was able to lose 75 lbs and then got pregnant and gave birth to twins. Now I am 184 lbs and really want to get back to my 150 lbs. I know what I need to so but it is so difficult to get back to it.

I have been using the P90X program as well. I love it. Question for you? Did you follow their diet plan and work out or just use the workout program?

My daughter is 7 months old now, and I've finally decided to do something about it. My husband is a pharmaceutical rep and is talking with doctors all day. One of them happens to have a "fat clinic" and gave him his diet plan for free because they are such good friends. And since starting it 3 weeks ago, I've lost 13 pounds! My goal is 26, so I'm half way there (and I'm not even totally sticking to the diet!). I am breast feeding still and I was told that makes your body hold onto an extra 10 to 15 pounds. If you would like the diet plan, I'd be happy to send it to you!

P90X sounds like a really intense workout! I can see why the pounds come off quickly. The treadmill and elliptical are the right speed and intensity for these old bones, but I'll be interested in hearing how you're doing with P90X. What is their food plan like?

I just want to remind members that it's a good idea to check with your health care providers before embarking on any new exercise of diet regime, to make sure you're doing what's right for you. ;-)
