Wish I knew! I'm better at dealing with it then I was say 10-15 yrs. ago. But I'm definitely not a pro. UGH!
That is why I haven't been around for weeks. Here it is in a nutshell...hubby ends up in hospital severe infection finds out he has heart issues. Nearly loose him to a heart attack, he spends 3 days in cardiac unit...he's only 48. Hubby fine & improving at home. I'm struggling at work to keep my job so I can support us, but we are okay. 5 weeks pass, I find a lump in my breast. I see dr., referred to specialist, more mammograms, sonagrams & tests ordered. Now, the wait is on. Lots of stress, but I'm sure that their are more people dealing with even more.
So here is how I've been coping with stress:
Tears...hey, if I need to cry & you can't hack it. Sorry, but it'll kill me if I don't.
Journaling...late night hours in the hospital with H made me start writing down everything I needed/want to remember & everything I was never able to say. Stuff I want to one day pass on to other loved ones.
Reuniting with the love of my youth....photography. Going out & capturing the colors of fall occupies my time, reminds me that life still moves forward, that it is still beautiful SOMEWHERE & that there is a cycle/season in all things.
