Record your life
FamilyHost_Pia - October 29, 2009
A UK company will soon release a camera that you wear like a necklace around your neck, to record every moment of your life! The camera takes pictures automatically as often as once every 30 seconds and can fit 30,000 images onto its 1-gigabyte memory. The article I read states: Originally invented to help jog the memories of people with Alzheimer's disease, it might one day be used by consumers to create "lifelogs" that archive their entire lives. I think this is a great invention, especially for people with Alzheimers! What are your thoughts on this camera?

My first impression is that I don't know anyone whose life is interesting enough to watch them go through a day. But my brother and I have scheduled a session with a videocamera and we're going to work through our memories of growing up, our parents, experiences, and the things that have happened through our lives. We're going to put it on DVD and make sure that our kids and grandkids get a copy so they'll see us interacting as we remember things from an era when they weren't alive.

i think its great for alzheimer patients but as for recording every moment of an average persons life i dont think that would be very interesting at all. now if there was a camera you could wear like a necklace and took that many picture -when you wanted-i'd be up for that! i carry my camera with me everywhere but no matter how small & sleek they are making them they dont compare to having one as small as a necklace

The way I understand it this is what the camera does, take images! Now it does not look like a delicate necklace but I still think it would also be great for parents. You could put the camera around your neck while you play with your children and take pictures at the same time!
