I have this love/hate thing for Rock Band. It's great that it get's the kids interested in music and various instruments. It's bad when my big teenage husband cranks up the volume so loud on the stereo, that you can here them playing the game a couple of doors down!

My two-year-old is obsessed with his uncle's Wii bowling.

Not that I would recommend a Wii for a two-year-old. ;-)

Oh yes... there will definitely have to be some boundaries!! Since we have a WII coming for Christmas I guess I'd best start looking for games!

My daughter (11 yrs old) loves Cooking Mama for the Wii. It's funny watching her try to crack and scramble eggs! When I get a chance, I'll ask her and my 7 yr old daughter for recommendations to pass along to you!

I think anything that's "Mario" related is fun for kids.

My kids love any of the sports games like Madden, FIFA, etc. They used to love the Backyard Sports video games when they were younger.

We had one of those Nintendo 64 machines and the Mario 64 game. I still play it when I go over to my mom's house. It's good clean fun.

I was just talking to my mom today and she reminded me that before we got the Nintendo, we had Sega Genesis with all the Sonic the Hedgehog games! I had forgotten all about those! We used to go to band camp, then all the kids would come over after camp and we'd play Sonic. That was 1991 or 1992. Wow! That was a long time ago!
