Have you heard that Nick Jonas will be recording a solo album to be released next year? His solo act is said to be called "Nick Jonas and the Administration". Interesting name if you ask me. Where do you suppose the name came from? At any rate, it's good to know that the brothers have said that the band will NOT be splitting up. What do you think about Nick's solo act on the side?

I wonder if the name was derived by the fact that his nickname is Mr. President? I was glad that the brothers are not spitting up too. I would hate to see a good group for all ages disband.

I didn't put Nick's nickname together with his band's name, but that makes a lot of sense as to how the name Administration came about.

My daughter said it had something to do with Elvis Costello. His band ws called Elvis Costello and the attractions, maybe a bit of both.
she is very excited as they released the tour dates last night and they are going to be playing near us...i guess i will have to add another concert to the regimen...lol

I think I recently read where Nick Jonas was an Elvis Costello fan. I'd say that your daughter is probably right. The kids are the ones "in the know" when it comes to all things Jonas.
