"Friends for Change" Commercial
FamilyHost_Cheryl - July 01, 2009
I've heard there is a new commercial running on the Disney Channel where the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato ask viewers to reduce pollution and save energy. What was different about this commercial was that it was gear towards the Disney.com demographic. They talked about how unplugging cell phone chargers when not in use can save a huge amount of energy and remind kids to turn off the lights when they leave a room. Yes, we parents have been harping on the lights thing for years, but maybe it will carry more weight when the Jonas Brothers ask them to do it. What do you think of the commercial and the "Friend for Change" campaign? Do you think your teen will listen?

I think they'll listen for sure. Having the these stars head up this campaign was such a great idea! My niece is really into this and heads the recycling committee at her school. I can't wait to talk to my niece about this!

I'd love to hear what she and her friends think of the campaign and commercial.
