Your July 4th Family Celebrations!

We have several July 4th traditions in our family. Our first stop is to our uncle's house for a cookout. His huge wrap-around porch is the perfect place to watch the parade since it goes right past his house. I hope they never change the parade route! After the parade we head downtown to the common so we can pick our spots for our local fireworks display. It's a lot of noisy fun!

Usually we spend the 4th with family that comes in from out of town, but they are staying close to home this year and so we're on our own for the first time in many years. We plan to have a picnic lunch in the botanical gardens and then grill for dinner. Then we'll go to the town's fireworks display.

Growing up In Southern CA, We always went to Disneyland on the 4th!! As a married woman having a Husband in the Military we have been many places so most of the time we watch the firework display that they have on the installation... I must say there is such a Patriotic Beauty to be surrounded by those that serve our Military. This year we will be attending a wedding on the Beach!!

A wedding at the beach sounds delightful! I hope the weather is perfect for the happy couple. :)

Please express our thanks to your husband for his service to all of us. We wouldn't have the freedoms we enjoy if it weren't for him and all service men who have fought so hard to attain and preserve our ability to celebrate our Independence!

if we are not camping then we usually go to the local parade and then watch the fireworks..this year we are bbqing at my sisters then going to six flags for a concert and fireworks..we did go to disney world one 4th of july..we had the best time there and their fireworks are fantastic!

That sounds like fun! I hope the weather is perfect in your area. :)

Last year for July 4th, hubby took our granddaughter down to FL to visit my in-laws and see the WDW firework display. He said they were even more spectacular than the fireworks in Boston. They must be incredible!
