Red, White and Blue Crafts!
FamilyHost_Annabelle - June 25, 2009
Spring had flown by and summer is here in full swing! July 4th means fireworks, cookouts, parades and crafts! Smatterings of fed, white and blue, the colors of our nations flag, are already sprinkled throughout our neighborhood as windows display the July 4th crafts the neighborhood kids have already made.

Sometime this weekend my little cousins are coming over to make these fun and easy
Musical Stars and Stripes flags from FamilyFun.com (http://jas.familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts?page=CraftDisplay&craftid=11478) to hang on their window screens. It should be a lot of fun!

What crafts will you be making for the big day? Share your ideas and photos here! If you need ideas, check out FamilyFun's July 4th craft section at http://familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts/season/specialfeature/new-4th-of-july-crafts-recipes. Enjoy!

I think I will look to make some red, white and blue placemats and cloth napkins. I'll have to check out the fabric store this weekend.

That sounds like fun! I was thinking of doing the same thing for the cookout on Saturday, but I'd have to make too many. I'm going to make a few tablecloths instead.
