Well, I cheated and said I wanted a new dishwasher. I just told my family that the dishes will get cleaner this way and we would all be healthier :x

My dad goes walking about 4 times a week. He doesn't have walking shoes, so wallah, that's what I'm getting him. Also, getting a cookbook for low sodium meals and low iron meals for my sister. She has non-alcolic fatty liver disease and is extremely limited as to what she can eat. They live together so I figure it will benefit all of them. Me?, sorry, all I want for Christmas is my family. Very easy and seems boring to most. I could care less about the presents. I have been switching things to low sodium and low/no fat for years now. They eat everything and with my middle son being a vegan alot of the side items are made his way and they still eat them...wink wink...he knows what's in everything and we never tell them. They just think he has "special" food. They just learned after two years that my mashed potatoes are made with rice milk and vegan butter which is why he gets to eat them....LOL....I'm so tricky....

LOL, that is how I eliminated salt from our diet. By the time they found out about the missing salt, they already got used to the alternative. Maybe the old saying is true, it is all in their head :D

Jennyboots, have you considered buying a used piece of equipment? People are always upgrading equipment and selling off the used items that probably still have a lot of life left in them.

My mom wants a treadmill, so all of us are going to pool our money and get her one. If anyone has a treadmill at home, can you offer some ideas about what types of treadmill features are important to have? The only one I know of is the safety key that the user attaches to his or her clothing so that if the person falls the machine automatically shuts off. Thanks in advance!

Make sure you get one that measures heart and pulse rate and to me my bottle holder is something I would not want to be without!
