H1N1 Vaccination Controversy
FamilyHost_Pia - October 29, 2009
There are a lot of reports stating that prison inmates may receive the H1N1 vaccine before school children, workers and families will! Of course this has a lot of parents upset! How do you feel about these reports and do you think that prison inmates should be inoculated before the regular public?

I'm not getting the shot, so they can have my dose! :) The issue before us is equity. Prisoners should have the same access as the rest of us. They don't deserve special consideration, but they also shouldn't be shoved to the end of the line. I'm not sure what the solution is, but if prisoners are getting the vaccination, its because a sharp administrator put in an order for the shots early.

It doesn't bother me a bit. No one in my house is getting the vaccine nor do we get the regular flu shot. I just feel there's not enough information being shared about the virus or the vaccine.

That would open up a whole new can of worms. I wouldn't think they would want to do that.
