One year we just had not gotten around to picking out a costume and all the cute ones were gone, so we wound up cutting a hole in the bottom of one of those short laundry baskets, attaching suspenders to it so it could be worn, and we pinned and glued all sorts of clothing and wash cloths all over her. She went as a load of laundry. It was her idea, too. We even made her trick or treat basket out of an old Gain laundry detergent box.
