Flimsy disposables cleaning products don't stand up well to tough jobs and this fact compounds their overuse and wastefulness. You are better off with natural cleaning products and a little elbow grease to get a good cleaning done.
When you dim a light, you lower the amount of energy flowing to that light bulb. So if you use a dimmer that means you will save power, which saves money and who knows maybe add a little ambiance to your place :)

Refillable cosmetic containers reduce the amount of energy used to produce and ship hard plastic, glass, and chrome packaging because fewer containers need to be produced.
It means less of a mess for me, I was always making a mess with those things lol. Plus think you will not only be helping save the enviornment but also saving money.

This week I changed over to a permanent coffee filter instead of disposable ones.

Bringing your favorite travel mug to your local coffee shop is an easy and way to make a difference. If you're staying to enjoy your drink, ask to have it served in the café's own ceramic mug. Of course, the greenest, cheapest coffee option is to brew your own at home!

Soy is often considered a meat alternative, and as tofu or tempeh it fills this role nicely. Consider including either of these if you cook noodle dishes or curries, where they can really soak up the other flavors of the dish.
