Sharing a Proud Moment
Team Disney - December 03, 2008
Hi all, I am just beaming because my 8 year old son just got an A+ on his first ever oral report.
Logan had to do a report on the Biography of someone's life. He had to find an Autobiography book on a person of his choice, and give a 2-3 minute presentation on the person to his class. These type of books on a third grade level were hard to find but he narrowed it done to George Lucas and Walt Disney! Well, I was thrilled when he chose Walt over George. I taught him how to make notes as we read the book, and he practiced his little speech nightly for about a week. We had a geat time doing this together and learning about Walt Disney the person. I am so proud of him!
Thanks for listening!!!

Oh wow! Way to go Logan! Reports can be a lot for an 8 year old to begin with and then to have to do it as an oral report in front of the whole class, what a great job!
