Do you help your child study for tests? Do you quiz them?

David has a spelling test every Friday and we quiz him every night during the week for that. The teacher posts a newsletter every Monday with any upcoming test for that week. David will bring his books etc home and study nightly for those and I will quiz him the night before.

Hailey doesn't have any test yet, but we help her study her weekely sight words every week.

Yes, Eric is 9 and in 5th grade. He has a spelling and sentence structure test every Friday. Either his dad or I quiz him on his words as needed. Eric is gifted and I swear he has a photographic memory sometimes - he gets his words the Friday the week before the test so he has the weekend and the week to study them. He can generally look them over once and know them - we need to spend more time coming up with good compound sentences - they get graded on the word and sentence. Other than that we haven't had to study for tests at home yet - they review in class and then take the tests.
