So I kept flipping the channels and looking at the TV Guide and realized that there are more reality shows than honest to god real scripted sitcoms and series on these days. Have we become a society that will seriously watch just about any average Joe on tv making an idiot of themselves for their 15 minutes of fame and a chunk of change? Do you prefer sitcom and series tv or shows like Big Brother and Survivor?

You're right about Shatner's character...the "Mad Cow" has been used and abused. I still love the show, and after some research, realize the final season was well publicized from it's beginning....I just wasn't keeping informed. Truthfully though, if I hired a legal firm and discovered this was the way the people in the office were, I would just plead guilty or whatever, and fire the firm!

I have a niece who is a lawyer, and when she hears the words "Boston Legal" she just rolls her eyes! I'm guessing that its an accurate portrayal of the legal profession about as much as "Get Smart" is an accurate portrayal of the CIA.

I wish Eli Stone would continue, but it appears it won't. So, I hope Eli and Maggie get together. :) Regarding Boston Legal, I really liked it, but in the past few years its gotten rather bizarre. They've had some really good actors and actresses leave. Shatner's character is so far out of reality it stretches credibility.

Boston Legal is cancelled?????? NOW you have my attention!!! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Amazing Race, but quirky comedies are my fave! I want to laugh!!!!!

Eli Stone hasn't been canceled has it? It is still on with new episodes. And I can't wait for lost to start in February as well! Nip Tuck begins in January and I am super excited to see how this season will be.

Eli Stone and Dirty, Sexy Money are on this season. I watch the first and enjoy it. One other show that I really like but don't watch a lot of is "Dirty Jobs" which is on Discovery Channel I think. The guy who hosts is reminds me of a real life "Dr. House" character. He is sarcastic and witty and really really funny.
