Project #6 - Bathroom & Linen Closet
FamilyHost_Cheryl - February 15, 2009
Just one look in the toothbrush drawer told me that this is the week to tackle the little things in the bathroom. Time to get rid of the old toothbrushes, and stuff in that drawer, disinfect it and open new toothbrushes for everyone. Let's also go thru the other drawers and cupboards by the bathroom sink.

Once we finish that, we can top it off by going into our linen closet (or wherever you keep your towels and sheets) and straightening that up. I know that I have sets of old sheets that no one uses anymore that I will be getting rid of and towels that should now be residents of the garage rag bin.

As always, let's share pics and stories along the way.

This is to funny, I just started in my bathroom this weekend. I did not take a picture of the inside yet but I can share the counter pic. I will take more and post later.

I was just telling hubby we need to organize the bathroom. The bathroom is the only room in the house I don't clean but I'm sort of in charge of the organization. We live in a row home so our bathroom isn't large. We have to be very creative with storage so this will be a great project. The first thing to figure out is what to do with all of the kids bath toys. Any suggestions?

When my kids were little we used a mesh bag hung by a suction cup on the tub/shower wall. There they can drip dry without getting anything else wet.

Oh this is a great idea! I so need to go get one of those bags. Thank you for the idea. I was just complaining to hubby about the dreaded bath toys. Usually they air dry on a towel or in one of the sinks. This is much more advantageous.
