I took an old lid from a broken rubbermaid box that I wrap the lights around and tape the end. For the rest I have several boxes, tree ornaments, outdoor decor, table decor, wreaths, candles, etc. and I just placed a label with the content outside of the box. So far it has worked great for us.
Not acceptable?
