Winterizing your water garden

Every fall I cut all my pond plants back and drain and put fresh water in the pond. I need to find a cover to keep the leaves from falling in but I have not found an attractive one so I have to scoop. Is your pond/water garden ready for winter?

I don't have a pond, but I have a friend with one. I will ask her about a suggestion for a cover for your pond.

Oooh thanks ... my pond is full of leaves and I am afraid I am going to have to drain it one more time for winter ...brrrr!
