Who do they look like?
FamilyHost_Meredith - September 28, 2008
Who do your kids look like? How old were they when you could pretty much figure which parent they favored? Or are they an even match of both parents?

With my first everyone says she looks just like me, but the little one is her daddy, no doubt about it...from day one!!

Everybody says that my son looks just like his daddy, but we think that he is a good combination of both of us. As for who he favors...it depends on the situation, but he's usually a daddy's boy.

This is a toss up. My oldest son has always looked like his father. He takes offense to this because we are divorced and he feels his dad has never taken much interest in anything he does (ok, it's true, he's 18 now I can admit things that aren't always pleasant). When he was younger the comment,"Oh you look so much like your dad.", always upset him. So I would tell him he's much cuter than his dad. This always helped and made him smile. He favors me and listens to me. My middle son is me. Tommy has always looked like me, acted like I did when I was his age and been interested in the same things I was, no matter what age he has been. So, he is me just younger and a boy. He takes great pride in that comment. My 4 yr old is his daddy's boy. They look a like, are into the same things and even walk the same way! He favors whoever will get him food! Now, my daughter, is a toss up. Some people say she looks like daddy others say mommy. My MIL says she looks like daddy the most...well she did until my husband brought out baby pictures. When he showed her a baby picture she was instantly upset because she said she was never given that picture and wanted to know why. my husband laughed and said,"I never would have thought you wanted a baby picture of your daughter-in-law" She was dumbfounded. She really thought the picture was of Sophia, when, it was really me. Even had to ask my dad who the baby in the picture was because she couldn't believe how identical the picture is to her grand-daughter! My dad laughed his buns off. Sophia favors us both equally. However, if any of her brothers are around we suddenly become chopped liver...it's very funny.

This is my beautiful baby boy. He's wearing my hat. He looks like my husband and strangely enough a lot like my dad. Oliver stretches like my husband when he wakes up and takes a long time to wake up just like me. He's my sweetheart and we love him.
