Who did you pick?
FamilyHost_Pia - September 29, 2009
Things sure have changed since I had my first child! Back then you had to take a Lamaze class in order for the husband/partner/parent to be with you in the delivery room! Now you can include the whole family if you wish to do so! Who did you choose to be present during delivery and was it a comfort to you?

I had my husband, my mother and my mother-in-law in the room with me. When I have my next child I think I would rather have just me and my husband. The mom's just kinda get in the way. They always want to be the one to do everything and my husband kinda got left out a little.

Aawww, I am sorry but I do agree with you! Even though I got so annoyed at my hubby during the last 30 min. that I told him to get out! lol - Thank goodness, he did not pay me any attention! :D

I had my husband and my mother with me and they were both fabulous! Because I was having twins I had to deliver in the operating room but I was so focused I don't even remember what the room looked like. They were very supportive and along with the support of my midwife I have a very calm, fast, and easy birth.
