Child Tracker

As parents we want to make sure our kids are safe and also we want to know where our kids are at all times! Now there is a new device called Little Buddy Child Tracker. It is a small device you can put into your childs backpack, lunch box, etc. It states: Parents can then log onto the web and see where their child is at all times, or receive SMS alerts if they leave a designated area. I wonder if I could somehow sneak it into my teens purse? :x
Would this be something you would be interested in for your child?

Wow, I'm torn between wanting to be a responsible parent and know where my child is but also not stressing myself out so much that I start to go crazy. Is it really necessary? I don't know. Can we accept a certain level of uncertainty at any point in life?

I'd have to think about that one some more.
