Which One Game?
FamilyHost_Cheryl - September 20, 2009
Which one game would you want to have with you to pass the time if your family was stranded on an island? For my family it would have to be Trivial Pursuit. That game never gets old with us. Sometimes we play it in teams and sometimes as singles. With that game we'd also be able to make up some additional trivia questions if we were stranded for an extended period of time.

For us it is actual a German board game called "Mensch aerger dich nicht" (Do not get angry). I think it is close to the game 'Sorry'. You have sets of pegs that you are trying to get into your home stall. Other players can jump you back to the beginning, etc.

We love making up our own game like win lose or draw its easy for the kids to draw and we guess and they can act out if we can guess by what they are drawing all we'd need is pens and paper on our island

I think it's great that you make up your own game.

My favorite game is Trivial Pursuit, too. But I also really like Monopoly. But a simple deck of cards might provide the most variety.
