I just read in my All ears newsletter (allears.net) that you'll want to book your Illuminations Epcot cruise 90 days out. Be sure to call FIRST thing in the morning as they sell out very fast.

Online Check-In for Disney World. Walt Disney World Resort resort hotel guests now have the option to check in online up to 10 days prior to their arrival. Information such as arrival times, refrigerator requests, and credit card information for charging privileges can be updated online in order to expedite the check in process once you arrive at your resort. At the resort, go to the specially marked welcome counter where you will pick up your folder information and room keys and be directed to your room. (Per the Passporter News)

ADR ADVICE
'When calling 90 days out to get your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs), try to book your hard to get reservations towards the end of your trip. When I switched the hard to get Le Cellier from the first night to the last night of our trip, I got our ADR with no problem. Also, be sure to have back ups in case you can't dine at your first choices.'

D23 - Unveiled at Last

The rumors have been flying - just what do those three intriguing characters, D 2 3, stand for? And what is brewing at Disney? Ever since those mysterious "Are you 23?" posters, buttons and ads began popping up and tantalizing us in the most unexpected places, there have been whispers and debates among fans as anticipation went sky-high.

Well, the wait is finally over. D23 is here - and it is revealed as the ultimate organization for Disney fans, offering a glorious behind-the-scenes publication, special collectibles, an annual exposition, an all-new Web site, and much more. Many savvy fans guessed correctly what the name stands for -- D for Disney, and 23 because the Company was founded in 1923. (From my "Disney Insider")

You can join for $75 a yr, includes special items, an expo, etc. Check it out. Sounds interesting but a BIT Pricey for me!!

I LOVE Passporter! I like their newsletter, their books and their RANGE of topics in their books. I ordered a Passporter Pouch for myself and my DIsney Travel BUddy. They look very functional and I can't wait to try them out!!

From my AllEars newsletter 9/29/09: A new 2010 Disney promotion was announced today called "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day." Beginning January 1, 2010, when you sign up to volunteer a day of service with a participating organization (and your service is completed and verified) you'll get a FREE one-day admission to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme park. Disney says that it wants to inspire 1 million people to volunteer a day of service.

What a FANTASTIC IDea! I'm going to volunteer as soon as the information is posted!!

Disney apparently will have a list from which you can choose where to volunteer. You can register now, and they will send you information when it is ready. You can also donate your Free one-day admission to charitable organizations.
