This isn't a resort. but during the summer its GREAT to drive the few minutes to the beach at Lake Michigan after work. It's MY answer to a quick getaway without spending a cent, and I can do it every day! I have to remember how lucky I am to live so close! The water MAY be a bit chilly until mid summer, but the sun is hot along with the sand, and there is some great people watching. A really nice place to 'switch gears' and leave the worries at home.
