The local radio stations play a song called "Christmas Eve in Washington" and it really brings it home for the locals what a great and historic place they get to call home.
Did anyone get a chance to visit Washington for Christmas Eve or the rest of the holiday season?

The song actually has its own website. I don't know if the artist has done anything else musically but this song is all the rage during Christmastime:

Since temps were in the 60's(!) this weekend, we wandered down to check out the National Christmas tree.
Here's a picture of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. It is right next to the White House (the West Wing is to the right of the building).
