Radio City Music Hall

Years ago we took a NYC group tour, the highlight of which was the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the world-famous Radio City Rockettes. The music was wonderful, the sets and costumes were a feast for the eyes, and the orchestra seats were the perfect location for us to see everything in detail! To find out more about the Christmas Spectacular, go to "Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular" at http://family.go.com/travel/things-to-do/new-york/new--york--city/poi-597989-radio-city-music-hall-christmas-spectacular/. Fun for the entire family. :)

This coming September Aretha Franklin will be gracing the RCMH stage, and with hope, we'll be able to take a trip to see her in person. What fun that will be! Other shows this summer and fall include The Moody Blues, The Brain Art Festival and Tori Amos in August, and Mandala Day in July. What shows have you seen or are planning to see at Radio City Music Hall? If you haven't had the chance yet, what shows would you like to see? Let's talk about it!

I've read and heard about RMCH all my life. I'd love to see a production there just once!

I saw the Christmas Spectacular two years ago. Your description "a feast for the eyes" is the best phrase for it. The costumes and stages were amazing. The special effects were like something out of Walt Disney World. I absolutely loved it and am considering going back this year.

For someone who has never been to NYC, Christmas is THE best time to see it. And nothing gets you into that classic NYC-feel than the Radio City show.

The Christmas Spectacular is worth the trip to NYC, BroncosDad. Order your tickets early though. They sell out quickly. ;-)

We went to the Christmas Spectacular last year. It was AMAZING!!!! Just standing outside the building it was hard to contain our excitement. Watching my daughter's face as she saw the Rockettes was priceless. Our favorite part was of course the toy soldiers. We will be doing this one again.

It sounds like you had a lot of fun. I love the Christmas Spectacular. Once you see it, you know why they call it "spectacular"!
