Selecting Mementos
FamilyHost_Tom - January 09, 2009
Most of us have mementos we've collected to remind us of our children. A clipping from the first haircut, a favorite toy or article of clothing, a trinket picked up on that great vacation, a scrawled card or school lesson...what mementos do you have to remind you of your children?

I have a Father's Day card from my son and my daughter on the wall of my office. Those things remind me of when they were children, and though they are kind of dorky, I wouldn't put them away for anything. Conversely, I also have a postcard that my dad sent me 25 years ago just as an encouragement during a rough time. That is also special.
