I have twin daughters who live with their mom. They live on the west coast and visit during school vacations and during the summer. They're 9 years old and get along with my wife and young sons. I'm sure when they become teens we might have issues, but right now things are going well.

Teens will have issues with everything. With honesty and a caring heart parents can work through those issues including blended family questions and issues.
