so what do you think i love the idea and i love being proud of your home town stick that in itself i think defines what an american is i love the USA and i love my home town and my family loves the Olympics we have family in chicago so you never know we may show our faces if they decide on us

Bummer. Olympics go to Rio. Well, good for South America seeing as they've NEVER had them in the last, what ? 5million years! LOL! Beinig from the Chicago area, it is depressing that we never seem to win. Just look at the Bears and the Cubbies. Guess we should be used to being let down (some may say "yeah, just look at Obama!") Gosh, I miss the days of Jordan & the Bulls....those were the days. ;(

I hope this doesn't sound bad but I am glad that Chicago didn't get the Olympics.The only thing that was going through my husband and my minds is the money that taxpayers are going to get stuck paying.I know Daley said that their was insurance purchased to cover it but sometimes I don't believe what comes out of his mouth.
