Paper Crafts
FamilyHost_Jen - February 10, 2009
I always keep plenty of construction paper on hand for all the fun crafts we do. We have made paper chains, snowflakes, cards.. the list goes on. I was so excited to see this craft at FamilyFun.com for a paper mobile... http://jas.familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts?page=CraftDisplay&craftid=11485
What are some of your favorite paper crafts?

We just love paper chains. You can make them in any color for whatever holiday you are getting ready for. We are thinking of making green (light and dark) ones for St. Patrick's Day, We will then hang paper shamrocks we make from them.
We also love to use the paper chains to countdown for events. We already have one made for our WDW trip in November. It is so long that it winds around the family room, up the stairs and into the kitchen - LOL We have a schedule of who takes off a chain each day of the week and my daughter makes sure that it gets done every morning!

What a great countdown to vacation idea, desurae. Paper chains are fun to make and I have even seen ones that have a wish on each "link" and that's a fun twist to add to the paper chain.
