Flower Power
FamilyHost_Jen - January 12, 2009
Being the mother of two girls, we have flowers everywhere! They so love to buy bouquets, color flower pictures and make them with colored pipe cleaners! Well I was playing around in FamilyFun.com and I found these Flower Friends... http://jas.familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts?page=CraftDisplay&craftid=11049
Let's share our flower crafts so all our Princesses can make them.

We love making flowers out of coffee filters, markers and pipe cleaners. Color the filters with markers. Spray the filters lightly with water so that the colors all run together. Let try. Once dry, add a pipe cleaner for a stem! We also make butterflies for our flowers using this. Color the filter, spray and dry. This time wrap a pipe cleaner around the middle of the filter to form a body. You can also us a clothes pin instead of pipe cleaners. Add googly eyes for an extra special butterfly face! (sometimes we get crazy and add glitter around the edges of the flower and butterfly wings!)

See Original Image
I don't have any recently made ones (they were all given away). But here is a pic of the one we made into a magnet that is on my fridge. (Keep in mind that it is old and a little faded - LOL) A picture of her face was put on it to make it a personal butterfly. When we make another batch I'll snap a picture.
