3) Check your newspaper inserts. Many of the big chain restaurants like Olive Garden, Red Lobster and Friendlys offer $-off coupons in the coupon inserts.

4) Look in your local newspaper. Small local papers often have ads and coupons for the independently-owned restaurants in your area. Ask your neighbors for recommendations about which restaurants handle kids well.

Another idea is to search out coupon books that are often sold by non-profits or schools. They generally have great deals for local restaurants. Our preschool sells these books aimed at families with kids. They're a great way to help out a deserving organization and get good deals for yourself.

Lots of restaurants offer a Kids Eat Free option on off-nights (generally Mon, Tues, or Wed). So if you can go on one of those nights AND have a coupon, it's like a double bonus!
