Magazines

I have accumulated a lot of magazines over the years. Some I keep for recipes, others for craft ideas or just for when the kids have a school project. I try my best to weed through them every so often but I still have a lot left. Do you have a magazine collection and how do you keep them organized?

As a preschool teacher, I'd find lots of craft or lesson ideas over the years and ended up with a filing cabinet bulging with papers and clippings. Two summers ago, I spent my break scanning and/or taking digital photographs of the pages/project samples. I then organized them on my computer in folders by topic or holiday. It made my life so much simpler. And now it's easy to search out what I'm looking for as well as prepare lessons plans.

This is a great idea! I have so many craft and sewing patterns that I did not know what to do with. I sure did not want to add another folder to my filing cabinet. I will do what you did! Thank you! :)

Oh, I can only imagine! It never fails that the day you did not print that one recipe, you will lose power or internet! Happened to me more than once :x

I received a few yearly subscriptions for free for something I bought online, so I get Sports Illustrated, entrepreneur, and Cruise Ships Today...I don't keep any of them. I read them all, but then they go in the trash.

That is why I stopped buying them, I can get all the information I need online. Now I just need to get rid of the ones I do have!

I don't bother to keep them any more ... I can usually find whatever I like online. That way less clutter!
