Each year I make or buy at least one new thing to decorate the inside of the house. This year I want to knit a holiday pillow. Perhaps an afghan, too, if there is time.

I get an annual ornament each year from both Lenox and Danbury mint... so I have set for each of my kids to pass on!

Last year I made curtain panels for all the windows in the living room and dining room. I found some cute matching fabrics for only $2.00 a yard! I also made a table runner.

i also try to find at least 1 thing to add to the manger that my husband made and we have been adding to each year for about 15 years now. this year i bought a rooster and chicken..i also buy a christmas ornament over the year whenever we go on vacation or visit someplace that we havent been before..i always try to make sure they have the year on them if not i see if i can put one on it just to make it that much more special..we took my neice & nephew to the statue of liberty & ellis island this year even though we have gone before i never got an ornament and it was special because it was their 1st time ever..

oh my goodness i did that too..my sister was buying a new house and i bought one for her too and now i cant find it and we are going to her house for thanksgiving!..i'm so annoyed at myself!!! i dont have much more time...ugh!!

Check your underwear drawer! I always seem to put things like that in my drawer so i won't forget and then of course, I forget I did that. Ironically enough, my hubby and teenagers pointed out to me 2 yrs ago that's my favorite hiding spot from myself. LOL, I was told that because I put things away in the same spots I never rearrange the drawer to find what I've hidden!

Someone posted that they write down what they bought for whom and where they hid it so they didn't forget it. Seems we Santas are sooo busy more of us forget things then not!I hope everyone finds everything. I too buy ornaments from trips, for my kids, and try to add something each year. There is so much amazing stuff out there now. Good luck everyone.

I found the Belize ornamnet with the dolphins... it's hanging in my kitchen!! I will let my little one put it on the tree this weekend... she is my dolphin girl!
