Post Your Cake Photos Here!
FamilyHost_Laura - July 21, 2008
I'm a little late starting this topic, since a couple awesome bakers already posted their creations in their own topics. But going forward, this is the place to post your photos of cool themed cakes or just any cakey creations, so we all know where to go to 'ooh' and 'ahh' at the latest cakes. Go ahead, post yours!

This is a German chocolate cake I baked last year. It was soo, soo yummy and I got the recipe from this site: http://family.go.com/food/recipe-ar-14877-german-chocolate-cake-iii-t/

My photo looks a bit different from the photo on the actual recipe since I just drizzled pure melted chocolate onto the cake, as recommended in the comment on the recipe.

Thanks Jennyboots! Isn't that the worst (for the waist line) and best thing about baking? Taste-testing!

I just made this ladybug cake for my daughter's first birthday. I was brave and baked it in a pyrex bowl. It came out lovely (the cake mix). The frosting turned out to be a little disappointing, but my little girl must have loved it cause she ate about half of it before she started chucking it on the floor. lol

Mint Chocolate Triple Fudge Cake:

I had some mint chocolate chips, some triple fudge cake mix, and some milk chocolate frosting. This is what I turned that all into. It came out so yummy. :D (The chips are in the cake and melted over the top.)

My oldest son says that he wants that cake made for him. He love mint chocolate chip ice cream and chocolate cake, and so it sounds perfect according to him. Your cake plate is really pretty.

My hubby's favorite is mint chip ice cream too. I made this for him, but I think he has only had once slice. I am eating all of the rest of it! I wish I could give some to you! LOL
