This fudge recipe is supposed to taste like Fannie May fudge. I just got the recipe from a friend a few days ago and will give it a try in a couple of weeks. If you try it first, let us know how it is.

Grandma's Fudge

4 cups sugar
1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
25 large marshmallows (cut up)
1 cup butter (do not use margarine)
13 ounces milk chocolate (cut up)
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate (cut up)
1 cup nuts (optional)

Mix milk, sugar, vanilla, and butter. Boil mixture for 2 minutes. Turn off heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Add chocolate (1 kind at a time) and stir rapidly until melted. If you want to add nuts, add them at this time. Pour into a greased 12x16x1 inch pan or two 9x13 inch pans. Let set before cutting.

Well, I have to say that I changed it up a bit and used mostly low/no fat ingredients. It was still good but I bet it would have been a lot richer if I used the original ingredients! I will try that for Thanksgiving :D
