I am reading "The Scarpetta Factor" from the library. It just came out and I had been on the library's reservation list since the summer. So far it's been really good, but I am sure glad that I read the rest of her books in this series first or there is a lot that I would not have appreciated as much as I do.

I just got done reading Shanhai Girls, by Lisa See. Great book I would recommend it. It is a story of two sisters from Shanghi China, and thier story. Very tragic much like Lisa See's other books.

I love Lee Child, Dan Brown, and The Lady that writes the Stephanie Plum series. I love mystery thrillers and bumbling funny mishaps. I'm reading a book by all three at the moment as I've never been very good at reading one thing at a time. I also speed read and this way it takes me longer to finish a book.

I am reading the Coffeehouse Mysteries series by Cleo Coyle. It's pretty good. Gotta love a good mystery mixed with yummy coffee!

After your mentioning the Coffeehouse series, I found them at the library and have finished the first two in the series. I love the recipes in the back and may have to try one one them.

That sounds like something I'd like. I've read the Diane Mott Davidson Goldie Bear cooking mystery series and loved it. I bet I'd like a mystery mixed with a coffeehouse. What's the name of the first book in the series?
