Hubby usually makes the birthday cakes. I'm not much of a baker. My favorite of his cakes is a chocolate fudge bundt cake that has a tunnel of chocolate fudge running through it. I have no clue how he gets the tunnel in there, except that it involves a knife and cutting. LOL

When the cake is cool he drizzles thick icing over the tops and lets it drip down the sides. While the icing is still wet, he inserts the candles so they are very secure at serving time. Besides being a scrumptious cake, when you look at it sitting on the table, it looks like a snow-capped mountain, which is perfect since my birthday is in the winter and we live in the Rockies.
